Tuesday night, Hall tweeted this

Three-year deal for DeSean Jackson with the Redskins. And it's apparently a whopper. We'll see what the numbers wind up being.

And finally, Jackson confirmed himself:

The deal brings to an end a whirlwind five days, which began last Friday with the receiver's release by the Philadelphia Eagles following a report by NJ.com detailing the 27-year-old Jackson's alleged gang ties in his native Southern California. Jackson immediately denied the report, and the Eagles have never given a reason as to exactly why they released the six-year veteran.

After a weekend filled with speculation, Jackson, with two teams reportedly interested in his services, met with the Redskins on Monday and had dinner with general manager Bruce Allen before hanging out with Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon and defensive back DeAngelo Hall.

Tuesday night, Hall tweeted this:

@DeseanJackson10 congrats lil bro welcome to Redskins Nation. @RGIII @PierreGarcon @DeAngeloHall23 @Wale @John_Wall huge making it happen!!!

Jackson set career highs in 2013 with 82 catches, 1,332 yards and 9 TDs receiving in his first season in Eagles head coach Chip Kelly's high-powered offense. But player and coach reportedly had a personality clash, which some speculate was the primary reason for his release.
